Sys-Logic offers a number of additional Information Technology tools that are not easily classified within our other services, and are unique to each client’s particular situation. While this list is not meant to be all inclusive, it is some of the projects that we have completed for other clients in the past that may be beneficial to you. Asset Management

Sys-Logic creates a tracking and information based database of all of your computer assets, both hardware, software and installed services. By doing so, when it is time to add new technology you will quickly be able to determine what will work with your existing systems. Our Asset management and configuration services deliver testing and staging to ensure technology integration and installation without disrupting your work environment. The most important long-term consideration in obtaining optimum economic impact for your technology choices. Retiring technology assets these days involves more than physical removal. The danger of proprietary data being removed from your retired assets presents a threat to your business. The disposal of equipment that can harm the environment is now federally regulated. In other words, what you do with your assets after retirement is just as critical as what you did with them before.

IT Outsourcing

Sys-Logic can provide on-site additional staff either to manage a particular portion of your IT area, staff augmentation, or to manage a project. These outsourced staff are Sys-Logic employees that are hired by you for a particular project, and when the project is complete, they no longer report to your offices. This assists many IT departments in handling projects when they do not have enough staff, but do not/can not hire. Examples of staff augmentation could be programmers, engineers, project managers, or general help desk personnel.

Equipment Relocation

Planning an office move, or department relocation is stressful enough as it is, but add to that the relocation, set-up, testing of computer systems and you have created a complex project on it’s own. Sys-Logic has the experience of project managing the correct processes of moving entire offices—servers, pc, printers and peripherals from one location to another, testing and ensuring that you are ready to work immediately. These types of moves are scheduled around your schedules— including off hours and weekends as needed.

Operating Systems and Data Migrations

Looking to upgrade your operating system software? Need to do this throughout your entire office? Not sure what version you have now, and what it would take to upgrade? Do you have the time to do all of the necessary upgrades? Replacing a current PC and need to migrate data from the old one? Sys-Logic can answer and solve all of these questions with our onsite staff of engineers to manage the project while you concentrate on your business.

Application and New Hardware Roll Outs

Are you ready to a technology refresh? If you are thinking about doing a complete or partial technology refresh, let us project manage the refresh for you. Our experience engineers will be able to set-up install, configure, and migrate all of your data and settings from one PC to another, including installing any new applications.
